Hello, I'm Ömür Özonur Kancoğlu, founder of Shoot But No Kill.

 

My work focuses on portrait, documentary, event, and fine art photography, capturing authentic stories, genuine emotions, and the beauty found in everyday life.

 

Originally from Ankara, Türkiye, I received formal photography training through the Association of Ankara Photo Artists (AFSAD), where I developed a strong foundation in both classical and contemporary photographic techniques.

 

Before dedicating myself fully to photography, I built a career in operations and planning management as an Industrial Engineer. That experience taught me discipline, attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills that now influence every photographic assignment I undertake.

 

My photography is driven by a simple belief: the most powerful images are honest ones.

 

Whether I am creating a portrait, documenting a community event, photographing a performance, or capturing daily life on the street, I look for moments that reveal character, emotion, and connection.
